How long have you been in Greenville? All my life.
Most interesting fact about you: My photography is exhibited in several Greenville area corporate lobbies, hallways, and offices and in hundreds of homes.
Your background: Born and raised in Greenville. I have a B. S. degree in marketing. Upon graduation I began climbing the corporate ladder, but then I stumbled. Why? Two years out of college I picked up a camera and my heart was stolen.
I turned professional in the 1990's and won several awards with my portrait photography. Also, with a scenic image of the Furman Bell Tower, I won Fujifilm's most prestigious award "The Masterpiece". My studio is located in downtown Greenville at 10 Central Avenue. This is where I have my gallery and also perform my photo production work. I am also represented in Greenville by The Art Cellar.
Currently reading or watching: Books on hiking the Appalachian Trail.
What is your day-to-day on the job? Greet the day, feed my cat, evaluate lighting / weather conditions. If appealing, I go take pictures. If not, I suffer through office work and then spend fun time in my studio working on photo editing and production. During the spring, summer, and autumn, I leave my studio to sell my work at local festivals and markets, including my favorite, the downtown Greenville TD Saturday Market. At end of day I feed my cat and go to bed.
