How long have you been in Greenville? 10 years this month. I was born and raised in Belton SC, and moved to Greenville in 2008
Most interesting fact about you: I started a photography company six years ago with no experience and I'm still in business today.
Your background: I grew up on the country roads of Belton SC.
I got the entrepreneurial spirit from watching my granddad, who started a sanitation business over 50 years ago. The company, Scott's Sanitation, is still in business today and located in the Anderson/Belton area. I watched my family work hard building a business and create jobs for others, and I knew that I would want to follow this path one day.
I went to college and received a degree in Computer Electronics and Engineering. I later started working for a communications company. I wanted to do more while working there and decided to start a photography company called, "Low Key Photography."
I studied and studied all aspects of photography via YouTube and became pretty good at it. I obtained gigs for weddings, fashion shoots, family portraits, special events...you name it! I began to uncover real estate photography, which really helps sell a home. Thus, I started to reach out and market my photography services to listing agents. My wife is in the real estate realm, serving as a Broker-In-Charge with her own company, "New Level Realty" a realty firm that is located nearby in Simpsonville. I guess one could say that it only made sense to work in the realty realm with the connections of my wife and my specialty. My wife also provided me with hands-on experience as I started my career in photographing realty by taking all of her listing photos which enabled the both of us to grow our careers.
I went on to become a licensed real estate agent which has been great. I'm able to photograph all of my listings, marketing and promoting them the way I see fit. Currently reading or watching: As a Man Thinketh by James Allen
Hobby: Playing basketball with my boys.
Tagline / Motto: 'Let's get it.' This tagline is motivating just by reading it. If there is an opportunity waiting then I simply say to myself, 'let's get it.' I don't like waiting and like getting things done. Who do you work for? New Level Realty
What is your day-to-day on the job? My day-to-day currently consists of prospecting new clients, cold-calling, scheduling meetings and door knocking.
