Most interesting fact about you: I'm really a home person, a family person (wife, kids, and grandchildren). People don't see that side of me because I'm at work all the time.
Your background: I've been working on cars for all my life.
When I was young, I started racing motorcycles and messing with cars. I then got into mechanics and I have been doing in mechanics since I got out of college. I went to Mauldin High School, then I went to Clemson for a while but I didn't finish at Clemson. I started working and it got too hard to do both school and work.
I like helping people. I'm a devout Christian, this is my small ministry. It's working with people that I find rewarding. Currently reading or watching: Tech stuff about cars. I'm always reading about cars. There's new information about cars coming out every day.
Tagline / Motto: "If It Rolls We have It" is my store's motto. Who do you work for? I work for my family and for the people who need their cars fixed. Make sure I can help people.
What is your day-to-day on the job? Waiting on customers at Advanced Tire & Auto Service. Helping people figure out what's wrong with their car.
How do you think Greenville would describe you in one word? I would hope Greenville would describe me as fair, honest and dependable.
How would you describe Greenville in one word? Growing, You can't find a prettier place than uptown.
Besides residence, where is your favorite Greenville morning hangout? Since I'm here at 7:30 am every morning, I'd have to say work is my favorite hangout. By 6 o'clock, I'm ready to go home.
Besides residence, where is your favorite Greenville evening hangout? I like Downtown Greenville. Downtown is calming. The trees create a park-like atmosphere. You can be all hyped up, go downtown and walk around, and mellow out.
